Weather Center is a very nice weather information tool. The application shows quite a bit of information about the current state of the weather in any location of the world. The first time you run the application, it will ask you for a location, which you can change in the future. However, there aren't any features for easy location switching.
Weather Center shows the current temperature, the wind direction and speed, humidity, dew point, visibility, and pressure. It also shows the time of sun rises and sets and the total of daylight that you can expect for the current day and the following day. It also shows a five day forecast for your location. For those worried about their skin, there is an UV index indicator.
I am not sure where this app gets data. There is a weather.com icon on the screen, but the temperature on weather.com at my location was 74 and Weather Center is telling me it is 95. It doesn't feel like 95, I am sure.
Weather Center can display weather alerts and Amber alerts. I wasn't able to test this because there weren't any alerts when I was testing this app.
